Residual Bills - Residual Income = Freedom
Being location independent is great, but it's even better when you know how to get rid of residual bills! I bet you've experienced the 'residual bills phenomenon' for yourself ;-). They are the bills that come in month after month, regardless if you work, travel or sleep. Typical residual bills are: rent, electricity, water, phone, etc. To get rid of residual bills, you need it's opposite: residual income. Residual income has a lot in common with residual bills; it's the money that comes in, regardless if you work or not. If you haven't heard about this type of income before, it's probably because you are still trading hours for money. Once your residual income stream is bigger than the residual bills, you can enjoy a lifestyle of total time freedom. Every USD or EUR that comes in after that can be spend freely at whatever you want. That's what the Digital Nomad Lifestyle is about; creating FREEDOM.
But How?
A popular way to realise residual income is using the power of the Internet; affiliate marketing, create your own product, selling information, setup a dropshipping webshop, etc. It's a good way, but not a great way to make money online. Don't get me wrong ... it does allow you to work location independent, but the amount of effort you have to put in is massive. Worth it? Not if you have to keep spending time, expertise and money at it. True residual income means putting the work in once, and getting paid time after time. There's a reason why Network Marketing is called the ultimate social business model, and both featured in Wall Street Journal AND Forbes in 2011.
